The Thermal Master P2 is an advanced mini thermal camera for Android smartphones that combines professional measurement capabilities with an exceptionally compact design. Weighing just 10 g and measuring only 31 × 23 × 10 mm, it fits easily in your pocket, and when connected to your phone, it turns it into a precise diagnostic tool. The camera offers an infrared resolution of 256 × 192 pixels, which, thanks to X³IR technology, is interpolated to 512 × 384 pixels, providing a more detailed image. With a measurement range from -20°C to 600°C, an accuracy of ±1.5°C, a thermal sensitivity of NETD ≤40 mK, and low power consumption of just 0.3 W, this is a professional-grade device ready for use in electronics, construction, automotive, and industrial applications.

At the heart of the camera is a highly sensitive thermal sensor with a resolution of 256 × 192 pixels and a pixel size of 12 μm. The Razor X™ Ultra Clear Image Algorithm improves image sharpness and clarity, while X³IR technology increases detail to 512 × 384 pixels. As a result, the camera allows for clear observation of even very small components, such as 0.25 × 0.25 mm resistors on PCBs. The wide field of view of 56.0° × 42.2° and 15x digital zoom facilitate both the analysis of large areas and the precise inspection of fine details.

Professional temperature measurement with PCB accuracy

The THERMAL MASTER P2 model was designed for precise diagnostics. The measurement range from -20°C to 600°C allows for temperature monitoring in both home installations and electronic systems or car engines. Accuracy of ±1.5°C and intelligent IQ+ algorithms ensure reliable results, while the ability to set emissivity, distance, and ambient temperature enhances measurement precision under various conditions. The Colorbar feature automatically highlights objects at a specific temperature, significantly speeding up the detection of overheating components and thermal bridges.

Compact design and exceptionally low power consumption

One of the P2’s greatest advantages is its portability. The camera weighs only 10 g, so it adds virtually no weight to your smartphone and can be carried with you at all times. Powering it directly from your phone via a USB-C connector eliminates the need to charge a separate battery. Very low power consumption of 0.3 W allows for long operation—from 300 to 480 minutes depending on the device. For example, when used with a Samsung Galaxy S23+ with a 4700 mAh battery, the camera can operate for approximately 367 minutes.

The Comprehensive Temp Master App

The dedicated Temp Master app provides full control over thermal analysis. You can use free tools for spot, line, and surface measurements, save photos and videos, and choose from 12 color palettes, such as White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red, or Red Hot. Auto Shutter and PIP (picture-in-picture) mode are also available, combining thermal and visible images for easier interpretation of results. The camera is compatible with devices running Android 6.0 and newer and can also be used with tablets and computers.
