Its purpose is to split or combine 2 antenna signals. The RDZ-211 can be mounted in a splash-proof ABS enclosure, allowing it to be placed outdoors, e.g., on an antenna mast. For proper operation, pay close attention to its correct installation and connection. The device can be used in situations where the signal level is high enough that its division and the resulting 4dB reduction will not cause the final level at the subscriber's outlet to fall below 51dBuV (minimum based on PN-EN 60728-1 standard). The device is especially recommended for cases where a "star" type installation with cables from all outlets leading to a single housing box is not possible, i.e., when antenna cables must necessarily be laid directly from the mast to the building facade.
