The PAD-820 antenna preamplifier is designed to amplify weak terrestrial TV signals received by the ASR series receiving antenna. ASR series antennas have a built-in PAD type preamplifier. A new one is only required if the original is damaged. The PAD-820 preamplifier is intended for use only with ASR antennas. The device is powered via the coaxial cable from the output side. Due to the wide range of permissible supply voltages 5-12V, this amplifier can be powered: directly from a tuner or television (the above devices must be able to output 5V DC voltage), or via an external power separator (with a power supply) type ZZA-7.
