Advanced lighting technology, a massive 150W output, and an impressive color palette make the NEEWER AP150C ideal for both professional studio use and on-location work. The panel utilizes as many as 1,800 LEDs and a modern optical system with a TIR lens, generating intense, even, and vivid light with an intensity of up to 42,500 lux at a distance of 0.5 m. A wide color temperature range, precise control, and numerous operating modes allow you to adapt the lighting to virtually any scene—from video recordings and interviews to product or portrait photography. The quiet operation of the cooling system, the absence of flicker, and the option of battery power further enhance working comfort during demanding shoots.

Powerful output and high-quality light

The AP150C is equipped with an advanced LED optical system and a TIR lens module with very high light transmission. This combination delivers powerful, concentrated, and long-range lighting that performs exceptionally well both in the studio and on location. The 150 W power, supported by 1,800 high-quality LEDs, translates to an impressive brightness of up to 42,500 lux at a distance of 0.5 meters. High color rendering indices of CRI 96+ and TLCI over 97 ensure natural and accurate color reproduction, which is of great importance during professional video and photography. The color temperature range from 2,500K to 10,000K allows for a smooth transition from very warm to cool light, making it easy to adapt the scene’s atmosphere to specific production needs.

Vast color capabilities

The combination of RGB LEDs and LEDs responsible for warm and cool light provides an extremely wide range of possibilities for creating the atmosphere of a shot. RGBWW mixing technology allows for coverage of up to 90% of the Rec.2020 color space, offering rich, saturated, and precisely rendered colors. As many as 7 operating modes are available (CCT, HSI, RGBCW, GEL, FX, XY, and SOURCE). The FX mode includes 18 scene effects that work great for creating dynamic shots and creative film scenes. Meanwhile, SOURCE offers 17 simulations of various light sources, allowing you to better tailor the lighting character to a specific project. PWM technology enables precise brightness control in the range from 0 to 100% with 0.1% precision. Four brightness control curves make it easy to create the right atmosphere and lighting setup in various working conditions.

Convenient Control

The NEEWER AP150C offers four control methods, making it suitable for both beginners in lighting and professional studio applications. The dedicated NEEWER app enables wireless control of the light’s parameters and convenient management of device groups. The built-in 2.4G module allows for master-slave configuration and compatibility with many NEEWER lamp models. The intuitive control panel with a color display provides quick access to key settings, while the 5-pin DMX connector enables integration with professional lighting consoles for more advanced productions.

Ready for use in the studio and on location

The light can be powered conventionally from the mains using the included 20V power supply and AC cable, but it can also be used on the go. By using a 14.8–26V V-Mount battery and a D-Tap cable for the 4-pin connector, you can conveniently use the light outside the studio as well, without access to an electrical outlet. The DC socket is additionally equipped with a locking mechanism that prevents the cable from accidentally disconnecting during operation. This is particularly important during on-the-move shoots and productions requiring complete power stability.

Effective cooling and flicker-free operation

An advanced cooling system with four operating modes (Smart, Medium, High, and Silent) ensures optimal operating temperature. Effective heat dissipation maintains the lamp’s high performance even during extended use, while extending the lifespan of its components. The fan operates quietly even at maximum speed, making the lamp ideal for recordings requiring clean audio. Additionally, the intelligent FM mode automatically adjusts the light’s operating frequency, eliminating the flicker effect during high-frame-rate recording.

Precise light control

The light’s design features a sturdy U-shaped bracket that allows for convenient adjustment of the beam angle and quick adaptation to specific scenes. Four removable barn doors allow for effective control of the light’s direction and shape, helping to create more professional and creative set lighting. The kit also includes safety cables for securing the barn doors, which enhance the safety of both the equipment itself and the people on set.
