Brake fluid tester, AMiO

Compact brake fluid tester. Enables instant measurement of water content in brake fluid, regardless of the car model. Simply immerse the tester electrodes in the brake fluid reservoir and read the indicator lights. The device can test many types of brake fluids (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5, DOT 5.1).

First start-up:

To perform a fluid quality test, turn on the device with the button on top - like a pen. Then remove the bottom cover and place the tester tip (two pins) in the brake fluid reservoir.

Device readings:

A. Green LED: The brake fluid does not contain water.

B. Yellow LED: less than 1% water in the system.

B. Two yellow LEDs: 2% water in the system - content within normal limits.

C. Red LED: 3% water in the system - fluid replacement recommended. Braking system up to 50% less effective!

C. Two red LEDs: more than 4% water in the system - BRAKE FLUID MUST BE REPLACED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

MAINTENANCE:

• Replace the battery if the green LED does not light up when you press the button on top of the “switch.”
• Flashing red LEDs - replace the battery.
• Clean the measuring pins under running water after each use.
