Device for locating and identifying wires without damaging insulation. Includes: black transmitter and receiver modules. Locates broken wires, points of damage, and tests wire continuity. Sends continuous or modulated signals to identify a specific wire in a cable bundle. High sensitivity allows work with multi-pair cables (up to 100 pairs). For accurate testing, use on wires disconnected from active devices. Connects to cables via RJ-11 connectors or alligator clips. Receiver has adjustable audio signal strength. Headset connection via mini-jack on the receiver. Features a very robust protective case. Receiver and transmitter powered by two 9V 6F22 batteries (included).
