Overheat protection and reverse polarity connector

Eight LEDs to indicate status and mode
TheSTAND-BY indicator will illuminate when connected to the AC mains. There will be no voltage at the output. When connected to a battery (the battery voltage must exceed 2V for a 6V battery and 7V for a 12V battery), charging is started by pressing the MODE button. 4 LEDs indicate the charging status of the battery:
- Red LED marked with flashing 25%: charging status less than 25%.
- Red LED marked 25% flashing and red LED marked 50%: charging status less than 50%.
- Red LED lit and yellow LED marked 75% flashing: charging status less than 75%.
- Red and yellow LEDs lit and green LEDs marked 100% flashing: battery almost charged.
LEDs lit at all charge levels: battery fully charged. Rechargeable, AGM or GEL batteries. Ambient temperature below 10°C, or batteries requiring higher charging voltage.
If reverse polarity is connected, the orange LED! will turn on when the MODE button is pressed.
If the red LED STANDBY remains on even after pressing the MODE button, the connection to the battery is broken.
The charger always enters standby mode when connected to the AC mains.
